This 2024, you can't miss the many activities Sitges has prepared for you. Christmas begins on December 14 with the arrival of the Tió, accompanied by a musical parade that will travel the usual route to the Town Hall. There, in addition, there will be a solidarity food collection.

In addition, as every year, you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition of nativity dioramas organized by the Grup Pessebrista de Sitges, available from December 14 to January 6, 2025 at the Palau del Rei Moro, a Gothic building that is part of Catalonia's architectural heritage.

This year you can also enjoy other nativity scenes that will be present during the same dates:

On the other hand, a classic event that cannot be missed is “Els Pastorets de Sitges”, a theatrical and musical performance typical of Christmas in Catalonia. Actors, technicians and musicians present a play that offers 60 minutes of live music, singing and dancing. The performances will take place on December 21 at 9:00 pm and December 22 at 7:00 pm. If you come to spend Christmas in Sitges with your family, you'll find several activities designed especially for the little ones. One of them is the famous “Fem cagar el Tió” activity, held on December 15th at the Town Hall, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In addition, Sitges has a very special tradition: the “El meu primer Tió” (My First Tió), in which babies born during the year who are registered in the city are given a tió as a gift. This event will take place the same day, at 12:00 pm, in the Town Hall Square. Days later, on January 3, 2025, the workshop of the letter to the Three Kings will be held at the Maricel Palace, for a price of 4 €.

And, of course, we couldn't miss the traditional Three Wise Men Parade. Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will be walking the streets of Sitges along with their helpers to greet all those who come out to greet them. The departure is from La Fragata at 5:00 pm, continuing along Passeig de la Ribera until reaching the Town Hall Square.

In addition, during these dates will also be held the typical events such as the Christmas concert of the group Retrio in the Casino Prado, the “Quinto de Nadal” or the masses in the Parish Church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla.
